About Us
The Nutrilicious Kitchen was created by Dr Geraldine Robson-Parsons as a way to offer you an interactive, practical and fun learning experience while focusing on the principles of ‘food as medicine’. We help people integrate this type of lifestyle medicine into their own lives by offering group and individualised services, including education and practical training on how to prepare nourishing meals and adopt a way of eating that suits your unique health and lifestyle needs.
Geraldine lives in Knysna and is a AHPCSA-registered homeopathic doctor, has a post-graduate certification in Personalised Nutrition from the University of Middlesex (UK) and completed a Diploma in Culinary Arts at the Francois Ferreira Academy. Her approach integrates this multidimensional knowledge and skillset through nutrition and food preparation workshops as part of her business, The Nutrilicious Kitchen. She also runs a practice, marrying the clinical aspect of complementary medicine and nutrition with practical education in the kitchen. Geraldine is the author of a published nutrition and recipe book called ‘The Nutrilicious Kitchen. The Heart & Art of Nutrition’, in which she offers sensible health advice and healthy recipe inspiration.

Nutrilicious Kitchen In this delightful book, Geraldine covers the entire spectrum of our being through the dynamic physical, mental, and emotional landscape of eating. She discusses the foundation of food, the importance of dietary staples, and the role of essential nutrients, while at the same time, weaving in ways to make the eating experience more colourful, flavourful, and artful. In her eloquent manner, she bridges the gap between the physical healing that foods provide, while at the same time, acknowledges the relationship we have with eating — the deeper, intuitive, psychological parts that the experience divines in every bite.
Nutrilicious Kitchen – The Heart and Art of Nutrition is a wonderful place for someone to start and take a first step on their path of eating. It sets the stage with procuring food staples for the kitchen, walking the reader through no-nonsense, high-flavour recipes. It’s also an excellent resource for someone who would like to redefine their relationship with eating in new ways: ways that go beyond just looking at food as medicine into envisioning it as something deeper – that of connection through awareness and mindfulness. It’s beautiful to realize that the eating experience is a profound connection to all of life, whether through food selection, one’s body, or even through the act of gardening. Within these pages is more than another cookbook on the shelf for your library. Rather, within these pages you will find information to create a foundation for your food, the inspiration to spark a renewed relationship with eating, and practical ways to engage both the information and inspiration in creative, colourful ways that will keep you on a path of sustained sustenance
